| I will be closing my case in Madrid shortly, please forgive me for not speaking for so long.
I trust things are well?

| Seeing a tiger sleep, you assume the tiger is dead; seeing a tiger crouch, you assume the tiger is kowtowing.
A Khmer proverb that I heard just yesterday. Be ever mindful, things are not always what they seem.

| We've arrived safely in Phnom Penh. I am sorry that I did not report on my status earlier but jet lag along with the preliminary duties of meeting with the Sâmdech have kept my hands tied until now. | |

| Happy Advent, everyone, and thank you for what I suspect was minimal chaos at the feast. At least nothing caught on fire.
I leave for Cambodia in a few hours.

| When there is fire in me, then I am still cold; When I own your true love's face, then you will not see me; To all things I give no more than I am given; In time I may have all things, and yet I keep nothing. | |

| Justice is conscience, not a personal conscience but the conscience of the whole of humanity. Those who clearly recognize the voice of their own conscience usually recognize also the voice of justice. | |

| 41.4°C
Hyperpyrexia, approaching the uppermost heat limit compatible with human life.
My fever has gone up, I would recommend people keep their distance from me as I am fatally ill. Watari will be staying with me and helping me try to bring the fever back under control. So do not worry.
As is, I am surprised that I am not so delirious that I am unable to dictate this warning.
((ooc: He wants you to stay back because...if you got too close you'd see he's not actually sick. EDIT: major typo on my part. 41.4. not 43.4. 43.4 is in excess of 110 degrees and fevers simply do not climb that high even if left untreated. Did not mean to put a three there))

| I am not feeling well today, I seem to have that flu that has been going around. So if people could please the keep noise pollution down when in the vicinity of my chambers that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Also, until the flu pandemic is over, I would suggest that nobody shares any food or drink and that people keep a respectable distance from each other. If you suspect you are feeling ill, do not feel you must attend your classes, as I would rather you restore your health and not spread the illness to others.
Sadly, there is no cure for the influenza virus. The best treatment is rest and fluids and occasionally medication to reduce fever. And I, quite frankly, should be taking that medication myself.
